General Overview

GovDeals is seeking a service-oriented self-starter to provide onsite and in field services to Clients including cataloging, gathering descriptions, and photographing assets in various locations both indoor and outdoor in a variety of weather elements.

 

The candidate must be willing to travel 60% of the time. The successful candidate will be assigned an existing client base with the potential of adding many more additional clients, as well assisting on special projects around the country as needed.

 

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Account Manager(s) to ensure all processing is completed correctly and in a timely manner
  • Monitor assigned clients’ auction listings to ensure a high level of quality and checked for errors
  • Provide onsite and in field services to Clients including cataloging, gathering descriptions, and photographing assets in various locations both indoor and outdoor in a variety of weather elements
  • Represent GovDeals to the government and public sector in a positive and professional manner
  • Be prepared to travel local or fly anywhere in the country

 

Qualifications

Education/ Experience:

  • Associates Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1+ years of hands-on technical account management/customer service experience

Skills:

  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Seeking a self-starter, with a strong work ethic & time management
  • High level of teamwork required to effectively collaborate with various departments (i.e. Marketing, Client Services, Business Development, Sales Support, etc)
  • Candidate must be adaptable (able to work in a variety of settings and weather conditions, i.e. gather photographs/descriptions in a storage yard w/inclement weather, un-air conditioned warehouses, etc)
  • Computer skills to include Word, Excel, Outlook, email and internet usage
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record

Ability:

  • Candidate must reside in an area with access to high speed internet service and cellular phone service

Work Conditions/ Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs, bend, stretch, climb, stand for long periods of time
  • The ability to work in all weather conditions
  • The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces

Location(s):

  • Remote – Columbus OH 
  • You will be furnished a company vehicle, cellular telephone with a data plan for web access, laptop computer, and any other tools needed to perform your duties. 

Travel:

  • 60%
