LOGAN — During a somewhat brief meeting of the Logan County Commission Friday afternoon, commissioners adopted a resolution approving their use of GovDeals, an online marketplace that allows them to more easily auction off surplus items.
Available on the web at www.govdeals.com, the website exclusively allows government agencies, such as county commissions, to liquidate surplus items on one platform. The website provides users an easy way to navigate items up for auction through multiple alphabetized categories on its front page.
The site also allows users to search for specific items or narrow down a specific location.
