Hallmark will hold another auction to get rid of surplus equipment from its Topeka facility starting Monday.
A previous auction on www.go-dove.com was held in August to find new owners for about 300 surplus items.
Another 300 items will go on sale on the same website at 11 a.m. Central time Monday, according to a news release from Liquidity Services Inc. Equipment for sale includes paper plate and cup forming machines, screen printers, bagging machines and shrink tunnels, packaging machines, box strappers, hand tools and machine shop equipment, material handling equipment, and office furniture.
Most of the equipment is from the Topeka facility, 240 S.E. Madison, though some is from plants in Leavenworth and Kansas City, Mo. The auction will close at 4 p.m. Central time Oct. 9. Sultana Ali, spokeswoman for Liquidity Services, said this sale likely will be the last one involving the Topeka plant.
