Officials from Liquidity Services Inc., a contractor for the sale of surplus and scrap assets of the United States Department of Defense, announced recently the department will auction to the general public a previously used military dump truck.
The 20-ton M917 truck, which was used by Camp Shelby troops to support on- and off-base projects, will go up for online auction beginning 11 p.m. Monday, with bidding opening at $25. The auction will close at 4 p.m. Thursday.
