Rare collection of WWII, HMVs up for public auction

Military vehicle enthusiasts, listen up!  Government Liquidation, the exclusive sales channel for Defense Department surplus, will be auctioning a collection of antique vehicles on behalf of the Jack Braton Tomlin Trust. A total of 24 vehicles, built from the 1940s through the 1960s and all ranging in make, model, build and condition, will be available to the public starting Tuesday, May 21, via online auction site www.GovLiquidation.com.

The vehicles, used exclusively by the U.S. Military both domestically and internationally, range from cargo trucks, utility trucks, fire trucks, tractor trucks and dump trucks. All of them start and run.

All were procured over the years by Jack Tomlin, a U.S. Marine, who upon his retirement, began collecting WWII military paraphernalia and military vehicles and transporting them to his hometown of Tooele, Utah, until he passed away in 2010.
