A police organized online auction has proven to be a success in Egg Harbor Township, where taxpayers are reaping the benefits. From bikes to computers and all sorts of vehicles, if it’s used, and you want it, chances are, they have it. It’s a government online auction open to computer-savvy shoppers all over the world looking to buy government-owned and no longer needed equipment.
Two years ago the Egg Harbor Township Police Department decided to log off their in-person auction and sign up for GovDeals.com instead.
