In the market for a used 20,000-pound mobile maintenance unit? How about a 2½-ton military vehicle? Or, perhaps, a prefabricated outdoor building in a box?
These are just a few of the items for sale at the Government Liquidation website, GovLiquidation.com. With the end of the Iraq War and the wind-down from Afghanistan, the military no longer needs much of the material that is returning to the United States.
And much of it is being diverted to a lot six miles inside the main gate at Camp Pendleton, where it will eventually be sold online.
