If you’re wanting to purchase some railroad tracks, here’s your chance. The Department of Defense is auctioning 450,000 pounds of railroad track, which has been marked as scrap railroad after the track was replaced.
The scrap railroad, which is no longer used by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, can easily be recycled and repurposed, according to a press release by Government Liquidation, a source for government and military surplus.
